NSF: EducareM Associates
Accompaniment for Catholic Leaders
Our Associates are engaged with the ongoing work and support of EducareM, planning the way forward in our rapidly evolving context.
Role of EducareM Associates
Responsible to: EducareM Leadership Team
Co-ordinator: Sr Judith Russi SSMN
Characteristics: EducareM Associates will normally have led a successful Catholic school, completed the NSF (iii) ‘Christ the Teacher’ programme and experienced NSF UK Study Visits.
We welcome colleagues who have successful experience of delivering CPD, be available for 5-7 days per year and be committed to attending an annual EducareM briefing & training session.
Associates will have the authorisation of school governors or the leaders of the relevant CMAT and have an agreement for £300 for release days. It is beneficial if colleagues have one or more speciality and some experience in system leadership, coaching or mentoring.
Core Purpose: To support EducareM Associate programmes as a team member or working in one to one deployment according to the needs of the school leader.
Guidelines for EducareM Associates:
- Assist in the development, promotion, sustaining and review of EA programmes in consultation with the EA co-ordinator.
- Support some assigned programmes as a team member.
- Lead in an assigned EA programme and ensure effective administration and evaluation.
- Develop a working relationship with relevant diocesan school groups to promote and recruit candidates and delegates for EA programmes.
- Act as a regional contact to promote the NSF level 1, 2 and 3 programmes.
- Contribute to the effectiveness of EducareM communication through the support of the website and social media.
- Attend the annual EA training day
